Job Brief
The Banquet Director is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all activities related to the service of food and beverages at events. Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors for catering supplies, decorations, and equipment rental.
- Manage event budgets, including cost control measures and invoicing.
- Lead, train, and schedule banquet staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare event layouts to optimize space and guest experience.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any issues that arise during events promptly.
- Implement safety and sanitation protocols in compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Banquet Director, Event Manager, or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, event planning, and customer service principles.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and thrive under pressure.
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management related to events.
- Familiarity with event management software and tools.
- Relevant certifications in hospitality management or event planning are a plus.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
