Job Brief

Responsibilities

- Assist in ordering and managing kitchen supplies, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and readily available.
- Monitor inventory levels and keep accurate records of food usage and costs.
- Support in training junior kitchen staff and assist in developing their culinary skills.
- Participate in food presentation and plating to ensure visual appeal and quality standards.
- Adapt recipes and cooking methods as necessary to accommodate special requests or dietary restrictions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a banquet or high-volume kitchen setting.
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude.
- Culinary degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ServSafe) preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
