Job Brief

As an Aviation Antisubmarine Warfare Technician, you will play a crucial role in executing in-flight operations to support combat, reconnaissance, transport, and search and rescue missions. Your primary responsibilities will include operating and maintaining advanced aircraft communications and detection systems, conducting thorough inspections of onboard equipment, and ensuring the effectiveness of aircraft weapons and defensive mechanisms. Responsibilities

  • Operate aircraft communications and detection equipment to establish satellite linkages and disrupt enemy communication.

  • Maintain and operate aircraft weapons and defensive systems, ensuring their effectiveness during missions.
  • Manage in-flight refueling systems and execute procedures for safe operation.
  • Implement aircraft safety protocols and emergency procedures to safeguard crew and cargo.
  • Compute and verify weight and balance data for passengers, cargo, fuel, and special equipment.
  • Coordinate and execute cargo and personnel drops according to mission requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or military training in aviation preferred.
  • Proven experience operating and maintaining aircraft systems, preferably in a military or defense environment.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft safety regulations and emergency procedures.
  • Familiarity with aircraft communication and detection technologies, including radar and sonar systems.
  • Ability to perform complex calculations for weight and balance management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-pressure situations.
  • Valid pilot or technician licenses may be required, depending on specific operational roles.
