Job Brief

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure that sheet metal components meet functional and aesthetic requirements.
  • Conduct tests and analyses to validate material properties and performance under specified conditions.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure adherence to industry standards and specifications.
  • Research and develop innovative uses for existing materials and explore new material options.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including reports and design specifications, for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory requirements related to automotive materials and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Engineer or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of sheet metal processing techniques and material characteristics.
  • Experience with CAD software and simulation tools for design and analysis.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards and quality assurance protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Relevant certifications in engineering or manufacturing processes are a plus.
