Job Brief
The Automotive Fuel Injection Servicer is responsible for diagnosing, adjusting, repairing, and overhauling fuel injection systems in automotive vehicles. This role requires a solid understanding of automotive mechanics, particularly fuel delivery systems, and proficiency in troubleshooting various fuel injection issues. Responsibilities
- Diagnose fuel injection system malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Overhaul and replace malfunctioning fuel injectors and related components.
- Conduct tests and inspections to ensure optimal performance of fuel systems.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to analyze engine performance and fuel efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on vehicles.
- Collaborate with other automotive technicians to resolve complex mechanical issues.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in fuel injection technology and repair techniques.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in automotive technology is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Automotive Fuel Injection Servicer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of automotive fuel systems, including electronic fuel injection (EFI).
- Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- ASE certification in fuel systems is a plus.
