Job Brief
The Auto Tire Recapper is responsible for operating specialized machinery to build and recast tires, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain tire recapping machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Inspect tires for quality and damage before and after recapping.
- Prepare tires for recapping by cleaning, buffing, and applying bonding agents.
- Monitor the recapping process, adjusting machinery settings as needed to achieve desired results.
- Document production metrics, including quantities and quality standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production workflows and resolve issues.
- Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in automotive or manufacturing preferred.
- Proven experience in tire recapping or related automotive manufacturing roles.
