Job Brief
As an Assembly Line Driver, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of the assembly process by transporting materials and finished products between various production areas. Responsibilities
- Transport materials and components to designated areas on the assembly line efficiently and safely.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other industrial vehicles to facilitate material movement.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of material usage and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with assembly line personnel to optimize workflow and minimize delays.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials from delivery trucks.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management promptly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
- Proven experience as a driver in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- Valid driver’s license and any necessary certifications for operating heavy equipment.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and logistics principles.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
