Job Brief
As an AOC Plans Air Task Order / Air Control Order Production Officer, you will be responsible for managing the operation of critical communications, detection, and weapons systems essential for coordinating air, ground, and naval operations. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in military command and control, emergency response planning, and operational readiness. You will collaborate with various military branches to ensure effective communication and coordination, especially during natural disasters and wartime scenarios.
Responsibilities
- Manage the operation of communications systems that link air, naval, and ground forces.
- Formulate and implement emergency response plans for both natural disasters and wartime situations.
- Coordinate emergency response teams and agencies to ensure rapid and effective operations.
- Evaluate command center information, providing high-level military and government reporting as necessary.
- Oversee the operation of surveillance and detection systems to maintain situational awareness.
- Provide technical information and advice on capabilities and operational readiness of systems.
- Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to support mission objectives.
- Conduct training and drills to ensure team preparedness for operational scenarios.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Military Science, Operations Management, or related discipline).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in military operations or command and control environments.
- Strong understanding of communication and surveillance technologies.
- Proven experience in emergency response planning and execution.
- Ability to analyze complex information and provide strategic recommendations.
- Excellent leadership and coordination skills.
- Familiarity with military weapons systems and operational procedures.
- Relevant certifications in military command operations or emergency management are a plus.
