Job Brief
The AOC Operations Special Operations Chief is responsible for overseeing the management and operation of critical communications, detection, and weapons systems that facilitate effective air, ground, and naval operations. This role requires extensive experience in military operations, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to formulate and implement strategic emergency plans. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of surveillance, weapon targeting systems, and a strong capability to coordinate emergency response teams during natural disasters and wartime scenarios.
Responsibilities
- Manage the operation of communication links between air, naval, and ground forces to ensure seamless coordination.
- Formulate and implement comprehensive emergency plans for natural and wartime disasters.
- Coordinate emergency response teams and agencies to ensure timely and effective action during crises.
- Evaluate command center information to assess the need for high-level military and government reporting.
- Oversee the operation of surveillance and detection systems to enhance situational awareness.
- Provide technical information and expert advice on operational capabilities and readiness.
- Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems for optimal performance.
- Conduct regular training and drills to ensure team readiness and effective response to various scenarios.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Military Science, Operations Management, or related discipline).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in military operations or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of communications systems, detection technologies, and weapons operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience in developing and implementing emergency response plans.
- Proficient in the use of military command and control systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant certifications in military operations or emergency management are a plus.
