Job Brief
The AOC Operations Special Operations Chief plays a pivotal role in managing communications, detection, and weapons systems that are critical for the seamless control of air, ground, and naval operations. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the operation of communications, detection, and weapons systems to ensure optimal control of military operations.
- Establish and implement emergency response plans for natural disasters and wartime scenarios.
- Coordinate and lead emergency response teams and agencies during critical incidents.
- Evaluate and interpret command center information to support high-level military decision-making.
- Supervise the operation of surveillance and detection systems, ensuring operational readiness.
- Provide technical guidance and advice on capabilities, operational effectiveness, and system improvements.
- Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to ensure mission success.
- Conduct regular training and drills to maintain team readiness and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in military operations or a related field, ideally in a command or leadership capacity.
- Strong knowledge of communications, detection, and weapons systems relevant to military operations.
- Exceptional crisis management and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
- Experience in emergency planning and response, including coordination with multiple agencies.
- Technical proficiency in surveillance systems and military command center operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Relevant certifications in military operations or security management are preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to evolving operational needs.
