Job Brief
The AOC Operations Intelligence Chief plays a crucial role in managing the operation of communication, detection, and weapons systems integral to controlling air, ground, and naval operations. This position requires extensive experience in military operations and intelligence, along with strong leadership and coordination skills. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of emergency planning and response, surveillance systems, and weapons targeting technologies, ensuring optimal operational readiness.
Responsibilities
- Manage critical communication links between air, naval, and ground forces to enhance operational coordination.
- Formulate and implement emergency plans for natural disasters and wartime scenarios to ensure effective response strategies.
- Coordinate emergency response teams and agencies, facilitating seamless collaboration during crises.
- Evaluate command center information and assess the need for high-level military and government reporting.
- Oversee the operation of surveillance and detection systems to maintain situational awareness.
- Provide technical information and advice on capabilities, operational readiness, and best practices in military operations.
- Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to ensure precision and effectiveness.
- Continuously assess and improve operational processes and systems to enhance performance and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Military Science, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in military operations, intelligence, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of communication, detection, and weapon systems used in military operations.
- Proven experience in emergency planning and crisis management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with surveillance and detection technologies and their applications in military operations.
- Experience in data analysis and reporting to inform strategic decision-making.
- Relevant certifications in military operations or emergency management are a plus.
