Job Brief
The AOC Operations Intelligence Chief is responsible for overseeing the effective management of communications, detection, and weapon systems crucial for coordinating air, ground, and naval operations. This role involves formulating emergency plans for both natural and wartime scenarios while coordinating emergency response teams and ensuring seamless communication between military branches. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in military operations, superior analytical skills, and a comprehensive understanding of surveillance and weapon systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage critical communication links between air, naval, and ground forces to ensure operational coherence.
- Formulate and implement comprehensive emergency response plans for natural disasters and wartime situations.
- Coordinate and oversee emergency response teams and agencies for efficient crisis management.
- Evaluate command center information to provide high-level military and government reporting.
- Manage the operation of advanced surveillance and detection systems for real-time situational awareness.
- Provide technical information and strategic advice on capabilities and operational readiness.
- Direct the operation of weapon targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to enhance mission effectiveness.
- Conduct regular assessments and training sessions to ensure the preparedness of personnel and systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Military Science, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in military operations or a related area, with leadership experience in an operational environment.
- In-depth knowledge of air, ground, and naval operations, including command and control systems.
- Proficiency in the use of advanced surveillance and detection technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to process complex information quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with multiple agencies and forces.
- Relevant military certifications or training in operations management and crisis response are highly desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
