Job Brief
The AOC Operations Defensive Operations Officer plays a critical role in managing the operation of advanced communications, detection, and weapon systems vital for the effective control of air, ground, and naval operations. This position requires extensive experience in military operations, emergency response, and systems management. Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize communications links between air, naval, and ground forces to ensure seamless operational coordination.
- Formulate and implement comprehensive emergency response plans for natural disasters and wartime scenarios.
- Coordinate with emergency response teams and governmental agencies to ensure effective crisis management.
- Evaluate and analyze command center information for high-level military and government reporting requirements.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of surveillance and detection systems to enhance operational readiness.
- Provide technical information and expert advice on operational capabilities and readiness status.
- Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to ensure mission success.
- Conduct regular assessments and drills to ensure preparedness for various operational scenarios.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Military Science, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in military operations, especially in AOC environments.
- Strong understanding of communication systems, surveillance technologies, and weapons systems.
- Experience in crisis management and emergency response coordination.
- Exceptional analytical skills to evaluate complex operational data.
- Certification in relevant military training programs is a plus.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills for team coordination and collaboration.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.
