Job Brief
The Air Mobility / Logistics Chief plays a critical role in overseeing the operations of communications, detection, and weapons systems essential for the effective control of air, ground, and naval operations. Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain critical communication links between air, naval, and ground forces to ensure seamless operational coordination.
- Formulate and implement emergency plans for both natural disasters and wartime scenarios, ensuring readiness and rapid response.
- Coordinate emergency response teams and agencies during crisis situations to optimize operational effectiveness.
- Evaluate command center information for high-level military and government reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee the operation of surveillance and detection systems, enhancing situational awareness and tactical advantage.
- Provide technical information and expert advice regarding capabilities, system performance, and operational readiness.
- Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to ensure precision and reliability.
- Conduct assessments and training exercises to ensure team proficiency in logistics and air mobility operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, operations management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in military operations, logistics, or related roles.
- Proven experience in emergency management and crisis response operations.
- Strong understanding of air mobility concepts, joint operations, and multi-domain operational frameworks.
- Technical proficiency in communications, surveillance, and weapons systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and make critical decisions in dynamic environments.
- Relevant certifications in logistics or emergency management are a plus.
