Job Brief
The AOC Director Combat Plans Officer is responsible for managing the operational integrity of communications, detection, and weapons systems crucial for coordinated air, ground, and naval military operations. Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation of communications, detection, and weapons systems for air, ground, and naval operations.
- Manage critical communication links among air, naval, and ground forces to ensure seamless coordination.
- Develop and implement comprehensive emergency plans for natural and wartime disasters.
- Coordinate emergency response teams and collaborate with various agencies to enhance operational readiness.
- Evaluate command center information and determine requirements for high-level military and government reporting.
- Manage the operation of surveillance and detection systems to maintain situational awareness.
- Provide technical information and strategic advice on capabilities and operational readiness to senior leadership.
- Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to ensure mission success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Military Science, Strategic Studies, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in military operations or combat planning.
- In-depth knowledge of military communication and surveillance systems.
- Strong understanding of emergency response protocols and disaster management.
- Experience in coordinating multi-agency operations and crisis management.
- Proficient in the use of weapons targeting and launch systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Relevant military certifications and training in combat operations and planning.
