Job Brief
The AOC AADC Operations Staff Officer is responsible for overseeing the seamless operation of communications, detection, and weapons systems vital for effective air, ground, and naval operations. This role requires extensive experience in military operations, strong analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate emergency response efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional technical knowledge in surveillance and detection systems, as well as proficiency in managing communication links among diverse military forces.
Responsibilities
- Manage critical communication links between air, naval, and ground forces to ensure operational effectiveness.
- Formulate and implement emergency plans for natural disasters and wartime scenarios.
- Coordinate emergency response teams and agencies to facilitate swift action in crisis situations.
- Evaluate command center information to determine the need for high-level military and government reporting.
- Oversee the operation of surveillance and detection systems to maintain situational awareness.
- Provide technical information and expert advice on military capabilities and operational readiness.
- Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to ensure precision and safety.
- Conduct training and simulations to prepare teams for emergency and operational scenarios.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as military science, operations management, or information technology.
- Proven experience in military operations or defense environments, with a focus on command and control systems.
- Strong understanding of communication, detection, and weapons systems.
- Technical proficiency in surveillance technology and operational readiness assessments.
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations and make quick, informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
- Familiarity with military protocols, emergency response procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Certifications in military operations management or related fields are a plus.
