Job Brief
As an Animal Ride Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of guests at an amusement or recreation facility. Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation of animal rides, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Assist guests with boarding and disembarking from rides, providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain and inspect equipment and animals to ensure proper functioning and health standards.
- Schedule and manage the use of recreation facilities and rides, coordinating with other staff members.
- Provide information and assistance to guests regarding ride operations and animal care.
- Monitor guest behavior and enforce facility rules to maintain a safe environment.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
- Participate in training sessions related to animal handling and safety procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in recreational or amusement facilities is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Basic knowledge of animal care and handling techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with professionalism.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and assist guests as needed.
