Job Brief

As an AN/SYQ-13 NAV/C2 Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring critical communications, detection, and weapons systems that support air, ground, and naval operations. This role requires a strong understanding of tactical operations, effective communication skills, and the ability to interpret complex data. Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor communication systems to ensure real-time information exchange between air, naval, and ground forces.
  • Maintain and relay critical communications to command centers and decision-makers during both natural and wartime emergencies.
  • Implement and execute emergency plans, ensuring readiness for various operational scenarios.
  • Monitor surveillance and detection systems, including air defense mechanisms, to assess and respond to threats.
  • Interpret and evaluate tactical situations, providing informed recommendations to superiors.
  • Operate weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to support mission objectives.
  • Collaborate with military personnel across various branches to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Document and report on operational activities and system performance for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a NAV/C2 Operator or in a similar military operational role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of communications and weapons systems relevant to air, ground, and naval operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex information quickly and accurately.
  • Familiarity with emergency response protocols and military operational procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective information relay.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments and make quick, informed decisions.
  • Technical proficiency with advanced targeting and surveillance software and systems.
  • Relevant military certifications and training in command and control operations preferred.
