Requirements
- Certification in ASL interpreting (e.g., RID, NAD) is preferred.
- Proven experience as an ASL interpreter in various settings (e.g., educational, medical, community).
- Exceptional proficiency in American Sign Language and understanding of deaf culture.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments.
- Familiarity with interpreting technologies and equipment.
- Completion of relevant coursework in interpreting or sign language is a plus.
