Job Brief
The Aluminum Welder plays a critical role in fabricating high-quality metal components using advanced welding techniques. Responsibilities
- Utilize hand-welding, flame-cutting, and brazing equipment to weld and join aluminum components.
- Inspect and evaluate welded joints to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to execute welding projects accurately.
- Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and aligning pieces effectively.
- Fill holes, indentations, and seams in fabricated metal products to enhance durability and performance.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition for optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and production targets.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Aluminum Welder or in a similar welding role.
- Certification in welding techniques, such as MIG or TIG welding, is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of welding safety standards and practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and specifications.
- Familiarity with welding tools, equipment, and techniques specific to aluminum.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity for handling welding equipment and materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
