Job Brief

As an Airside Transfer Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers between terminals, gates, and other designated areas within the airport premises. This role requires a strong understanding of airport operations, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to navigate complex routes efficiently. Ideal candidates will possess a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) and have a proven track record of driving experience, particularly in a passenger transport setting.

Responsibilities

  • Operate airside transfer buses in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all airport regulations and traffic laws.
  • Transport passengers to and from terminals, gates, and other airport locations on a scheduled basis.
  • Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and maintenance compliance.
  • Collect fares and provide receipts as required, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Communicate effectively with airport staff and passengers to provide information and assistance.
  • Respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents, ensuring passenger safety at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to company and airport cleanliness standards.

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
  • Proven driving experience, particularly in public transportation or passenger services.
  • Strong knowledge of airport operations and airside regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
