Job Brief
As an Airport Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to and from the airport, ensuring timely arrivals and departures. This role requires strong customer service skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to navigate efficiently in busy environments. Ideal candidates will have experience in passenger transport and a commitment to providing exceptional service while following all safety protocols and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Transport passengers between designated locations and the airport in a safe and timely manner.
- Assist passengers with luggage and provide excellent customer service throughout the journey.
- Maintain an accurate schedule and follow planned routes to ensure punctual service.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the shuttle vehicle to ensure safety and operational readiness.
- Collect fares and process payments as required, maintaining accurate records of transactions.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and other road users.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other drivers to coordinate pick-up and drop-off schedules.
- Report any vehicle issues or accidents to management promptly and follow company procedures for incident reporting.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a shuttle driver, taxi driver, or in a similar passenger transport role.
- Strong knowledge of local routes, traffic patterns, and airport regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse passenger groups.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Customer service-oriented with a focus on passenger safety and comfort.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform pre-trip vehicle inspections.
