As an Airport Apron Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to and from various airport terminals and facilities on a scheduled basis. Ideal candidates will possess prior experience in passenger transport, a valid driver’s license, and a keen understanding of safety protocols within the aviation industry.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a motor vehicle to transport passengers between terminals and designated areas within the airport.
  • Ensure timely departures and arrivals based on the airport schedule.
  • Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring a safe and smooth experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, conducting daily inspections for mechanical issues.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and airport protocols while operating the bus.
  • Communicate effectively with airport staff and passengers to provide exceptional service.
  • Collect fares when required, handling cash and payment transactions accurately.
  • Report any incidents, delays, or passenger concerns to the appropriate authorities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in transportation or logistics is a plus.
  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a passenger endorsement.
  • Proven experience as a bus driver or in a similar passenger transport role.
  • Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and airport regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse passenger groups.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
