Job Brief

The Airman plays a crucial role in executing in-flight duties essential for the successful completion of combat, reconnaissance, transport, and search and rescue missions. This position requires proficiency in operating aircraft communications and detection systems, as well as conducting thorough preflight, in-flight, and postflight inspections. Ideal candidates will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate and maintain advanced aircraft systems, ensuring mission readiness and safety at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-flight duties to support combat, reconnaissance, transport, and search and rescue operations.
  • Operate aircraft communications and detection equipment, establishing satellite linkages and disrupting enemy communications.
  • Conduct preflight, in-flight, and postflight inspections to ensure the operational readiness of onboard equipment.
  • Maintain and operate aircraft weapons and defensive systems, ensuring optimal functionality during missions.
  • Manage in-flight refueling systems to support extended missions and operational needs.
  • Execute aircraft safety and emergency procedures to guarantee crew and passenger safety.
  • Compute and verify weight and balance data for passengers, cargo, fuel, and special equipment.
  • Conduct cargo and personnel drops as part of mission requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; military training in aviation or related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft systems, including communication, navigation, and defensive mechanisms.
  • Experience with aircraft maintenance and inspections is highly desirable.
  • Ability to operate advanced aircraft equipment and software.
  • Valid pilot’s license or relevant certification may be required, depending on specific duties.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in operational tasks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in high-pressure environments.
  • Ability to pass physical and psychological evaluations as per military standards.
