Job Brief
As an Airline Pilot In Command, you will be responsible for the safe operation and navigation of fixed-wing aircraft, primarily on scheduled air carrier routes. This role requires extensive knowledge of aviation regulations, exceptional flying skills, and the ability to manage in-flight emergencies. Ideal candidates will possess a Federal Air Transport certificate and appropriate type ratings, along with a strong commitment to passenger safety and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Navigate aircraft during all phases of flight, including takeoff, cruising, and landing.
- Communicate effectively with air traffic control and crew members to ensure a smooth flight operation.
- Monitor flight instruments and systems to assess aircraft performance and make necessary adjustments.
- Manage in-flight emergencies according to established protocols and procedures.
- Maintain accurate flight logs and documentation as per regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership and direction to co-pilots and cabin crew during flights.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance flying skills and knowledge of new regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Federal Air Transport certificate and appropriate aircraft type rating.
