Job Brief
As an Airborne Weapons Technical Manager, you will oversee and coordinate the activities of a specialized team of weapons technicians and crew members. This role requires extensive knowledge of airborne weapon systems, along with strong leadership skills to manage personnel effectively. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful operation, maintenance, and integration of advanced weaponry, while focusing on safety, compliance, and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of weapons specialists and crew members, ensuring effective teamwork and communication.
- Conduct training and development programs for technical staff to enhance skills in airborne weapon systems.
- Implement safety protocols and operational procedures to maintain compliance with industry regulations.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of weapons systems, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to address technical issues and facilitate system enhancements.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to weapons operations, maintenance, and technical specifications.
- Ensure proper inventory management of weapons components and related equipment.
- Act as a liaison between upper management and technical teams to facilitate project updates and resource allocation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or related technical field preferred.
- Proven experience in weapons systems management within military or aerospace sectors.
- Strong knowledge of airborne weapon systems and their operational protocols.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide technical personnel.
- Proficiency in analyzing complex technical data and troubleshooting system issues.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations governing weaponry operations.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information clearly.
- Certifications in weapons management or related fields are a plus.
