Job Brief
The Airborne Operations Superintendent is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of air crew members, ensuring safe and efficient airborne operations. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of air crew members to ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Implement safety protocols and procedures to maintain the highest level of safety during airborne operations.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and mentorship to air crew personnel.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze operational data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure all crew members are adequately trained and certified for their respective roles.
- Oversee maintenance schedules and inspections to uphold aircraft readiness and safety standards.
- Prepare reports on operational performance, safety incidents, and crew performance for management review.
Requirements
- Proven experience in aviation operations management or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications, such as FAA or military flight operations qualifications, preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using aviation management software and tools.
