Job Brief
As an Airborne Mine Countermeasures (AMCM) Aircrewman, you will play a pivotal role in executing missions related to combat, reconnaissance, transport, and search and rescue operations. Your expertise in operating advanced aircraft communications and detection equipment will be crucial in establishing satellite linkages and jamming enemy communications. This position requires a strong understanding of aircraft safety protocols, in-flight refueling systems, and the ability to perform thorough preflight, in-flight, and postflight inspections. We seek candidates with a high level of technical proficiency, teamwork, and adaptability to dynamic mission requirements.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain aircraft communications and detection systems to ensure mission success.
- Conduct preflight, in-flight, and postflight inspections of onboard equipment for optimal performance.
- Establish satellite linkages and implement jamming techniques to disrupt enemy communications.
- Manage and operate aircraft weapons and defensive systems effectively during missions.
- Execute in-flight refueling operations with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Compute and verify weight and balance data for passengers, cargo, fuel, and emergency equipment.
- Conduct cargo and personnel drops in accordance with mission specifications.
- Implement aircraft safety and emergency procedures to ensure crew and mission integrity.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; military aviation training preferred.
- Proven experience as an Aircrewman or in a similar aviation role.
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems, safety protocols, and emergency procedures.
- Expertise in operating and maintaining aerial detection equipment and weapons systems.
- Ability to perform detailed inspections and evaluations of aircraft equipment.
- Familiarity with in-flight refueling processes and procedures.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications and training in aviation operations and safety are a plus.
