Job Brief
The Air Defense Control Officer is responsible for managing the operation of critical communications, detection, and weapons systems essential for coordinating air, ground, and naval operations. This role requires a seasoned professional who possesses strong leadership skills and extensive experience in military operations, emergency planning, and systems management. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the operation of communications and detection systems to ensure effective coordination among air, naval, and ground forces.
- Formulate and implement emergency response plans for both natural disasters and wartime scenarios.
- Coordinate emergency response teams and collaborate with various agencies to ensure readiness and effective action during incidents.
- Evaluate command center information and assess the need for high-level military and government reporting.
- Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to ensure operational effectiveness.
- Provide technical information and advice regarding capabilities, operational readiness, and system improvements.
- Conduct regular assessments and training sessions to ensure team proficiency with air defense systems and protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Military Science, Defense Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in military operations, specifically in air defense or command and control roles.
- Strong understanding of communication, detection, and weapons systems.
- Proficient in emergency management and disaster response planning.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to evaluate complex information quickly.
- Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
- Familiarity with military protocols and operational readiness assessments.
- Relevant certifications in defense systems management or emergency response are preferred.
