Job Brief
As an Air Conditioning Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, and refrigeration equipment. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration systems in compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to air conditioning units and heating systems, providing effective solutions.
- Replace or repair defective components and systems, including compressors, evaporators, and thermostats.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on HVAC systems.
- Educate clients on proper HVAC system operation and maintenance to ensure longevity and efficiency.
- Adhere to safety regulations and protocols while performing installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Service Technician or similar role in the HVAC industry.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, refrigeration principles, and electrical components.
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills and customer service orientation.
