Job Brief
The Air Cargo Ground Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of ground crew engaged in the loading, unloading, securing, and staging of aircraft cargo and baggage. - Conduct safety briefings and assist passengers with emergency procedures as needed.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to air cargo operations.
- Train and mentor ground crew members to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless cargo operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in air cargo operations or related field, with a focus on ground handling.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of cargo handling regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to compute aircraft center of gravity and load distribution accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Certification in cargo handling or related training is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in using cargo management software and related technology.
