Job Brief
The Air Cargo Ground Crew Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the ground operations of air cargo handling. Responsibilities

- Coordinate the loading and unloading of cargo and baggage, ensuring proper securing and staging.
- Determine the quantity and orientation of cargo to optimize aircraft center of gravity.
- Monitor compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to air cargo handling.
- Train and mentor ground crew personnel in industry best practices and safety procedures.
- Conduct pre-flight checks and briefings to ensure cargo is managed appropriately during flight.
- Assist passengers with safety and emergency procedures as required.
- Collaborate with airline operations and logistics teams to streamline cargo handling processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in air cargo operations or related field, with supervisory experience preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of cargo handling procedures, safety regulations, and logistics management.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Ability to perform detailed calculations for aircraft loading and weight distribution.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective coordination and reporting.
- Certification in air cargo handling or related safety training is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with cargo management software and familiarity with aviation industry standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
