Job Brief
As an Air Analysis Engineering Technician, you will apply environmental engineering principles to support the modification, testing, and operation of equipment focused on the prevention, control, and remediation of air quality issues. Your role is crucial in working alongside engineering staff and scientists, assisting in the development and implementation of effective air analysis devices and technologies. Ideal candidates will possess a strong technical background, familiarity with environmental regulations, and hands-on experience in air quality monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Conduct air quality assessments and analysis to identify pollutants and compliance with environmental regulations.
- Assist in the design, testing, and operation of air analysis equipment and remediation systems.
- Collect and analyze samples to determine air quality parameters and environmental impacts.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop innovative solutions for air pollution control.
- Maintain and calibrate air monitoring instruments and ensure accuracy of measurements.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation related to air analysis and remediation efforts.
- Support field investigations and site assessments to evaluate air quality conditions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes affecting air quality management.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in air quality analysis, environmental testing, or related technical roles.
- Knowledge of air quality regulations and environmental compliance standards.
- Familiarity with air sampling techniques and analytical laboratory equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in data analysis software and technical reporting tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Relevant certifications in environmental monitoring or air quality analysis are a plus.
