Job Brief
As an Aerospace Control and Warning Systems Specialist, you will operate and monitor critical communications, detection, and weapons systems essential for effective air, ground, and naval operations. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor advanced communication systems to ensure real-time information flow between air, ground, and naval units.
- Maintain and manage weapons systems, including targeting, firing, and launch computer systems, to support operational readiness.
- Implement emergency plans and protocols in response to natural and wartime disasters.
- Relay critical command center information to military and government leadership for timely decision-making.
- Monitor and evaluate surveillance and detection systems, including air defense mechanisms, to assess threats.
- Interpret tactical situations and provide actionable recommendations to superiors based on analyzed data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in aerospace technology and military strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience with control and warning systems in military applications.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic insights.
- Familiarity with communication, detection, and weapons systems used in military operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Certifications in military systems operations or related fields are highly desirable.
- Willingness to undergo security clearance processes as required.
