Job Brief
The Acid Purification Equipment Operator is responsible for operating and tending to specialized equipment that controls chemical changes and reactions in the processing of industrial and consumer products. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor acid purification equipment to facilitate chemical reactions in product processing.
- Adjust equipment settings and parameters to maintain optimal processing conditions.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform routine maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Record and analyze data related to chemical reactions and equipment performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the production process.
- Implement best practices for waste management and environmental protection in chemical processing.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in chemical processing is preferred.
- Proven experience in operating chemical processing equipment, specifically in acid purification.
- Strong understanding of chemical properties and reactions relevant to industrial processing.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment monitoring.
- Certification in safety practices and chemical handling is a plus.
