Job Brief
The Header Setup Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and tending forging machines to taper, shape, or form metal or plastic parts. This role requires a keen understanding of machine operation and the ability to follow precise specifications to ensure high-quality production. Responsibilities
- Set up and adjust forging machines according to specifications and production schedules.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining or forging is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Header Setup Operator or in a similar machining role.
- Strong understanding of machine operation, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and machine monitoring.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
