This company appears to be a scam. They paid me for the first couple of weeks, and kept invoicing the company I was contracted out to, but Direct IT stopped paying me, apparently pocketing the money. (They would reply occasionally, promising that the money was just around the corner, but it’s been several months since they stopped paying me, and I haven’t seen any evidence this is sincere. It looks like simple wage theft.)
I eventually had to take them to court to get even a fraction of what they owed me.
