The NAIA of Tennessee is amazing. They plan the best pow-wows I have ever seen. Very traditional and humbling experience. I would highly recommend going to a pow-wow if you have never been. The people, the food and the vendors selling their own native American stuff is just amazing. I was so disappointed they were closed last year due to covid. But its coming back this year for 2021. They have it at long hunter state park which is a perfect location. Just trust me and go, you will absolutely love it. I recommend the lemonade and Indian tacos if you ever want some good food and drinks.

They advertise that students and seniors get in free on Fridays to get you to come to pow wow but they charge anyways. Very poorly ran and organized which is unfortunate for the vendors.
