I’ve been going to Urban Country for furniture & pillows, gifts & more since they opened 25 years ago. I’ve always loved the store, but recently I had an incredibly positive experience w them Customer Service wise that went beyond any of my husband or my expectation… we custom ordered two chairs, thought they were comfortable, the right size, & picked out a fabric I loved. When the chairs came in months later, we found them too small scale wise for our family room. I didn’t know what to do or say, thinking we’d made such a costly mistake. And then Sasha (the owner now) said we could return/exchange them; she just really wanted us to be happy! I was shocked! We then worked w Lindsay, the nicest, warmest, most helpful person I’ve worked with in..forever?..& she helped us pick the perfect chair, wh arrived yesterday, & I am so happy. I don’t know another store that would do this & be so damn NICE about it!! Forever a loyal fan.

Order furniture here if you want to wait for it for more than six months. Terrible service. We waited for the furniture for more than 2 months, then they brought us the wrong thing. They took the wrong parts and disappeared again. No messages, zero information. And it’s been more than 2 months. Our couch is still missing.

I spent an absolutely embarrassing number of days couch shopping until I walked into Urban Country and met Seaton. He is the most helpful, knowledgeable and thoughtful salesperson I’ve ever come across. Not only did he help me find a couch, he talked me through various fabric choices (with the perfect balance of opinionated without pushiness), answered my every question (from materials to warranty information) and went above and beyond helping me figure out how to ship from Bethesda to my Brooklyn apartment. I can’t recommend Urban Country and Seaton enough!
