Worst place EVER to work!! Take your unique skills and go elsewhere with it. They discriminate, stick to the higher ups and look down on the rest of the employees. Well at least in the New York office.
I had a problem with the FS Chief of Staff because he was loud, disrespectful, micromanaging my work (I was only there for 6 months at the time learning “his way of doing things”). I was insulted because I didn’t do my work like he did, which I have been working for 15 years doing the exact same thing but my way not any other way. He is literally a sick person to talk to someone that way and think it’s ok.
I told HR how he yelled and degrading me thinking it would help with the situation. Well…it didn’t, I have severe anxiety and other things that I work through daily battling with unwanted mental health issues which I made HR aware of and they did NOTHING! I was directed to the website to seek help, that’s it. Not even an “we’ll fix this, we will bring this to his attention”, nope. A website and oh…he is “KEY STAKEHOLDER” to the company. WOW!! Shame on you Capgemini.
Louis Bertrand, you are some piece of work to get away with treating others like that. Btw, I’m not the only one that complained, there have been many many more but no one spoke up about how he made them feel. Not me, not after how he made me feel. I am proud that I was a voice for my peers even if it didn’t get anywhere.
Even told my boss the Financial Services CEO and he did nothing about it. He just brushed it off like it was nothing and I should deal with it. So I should tolerate being spoken to with total disregard and just swallow disrespect. Truth is, we are totally dispensable and they aren’t. They act like they care on camera, truth is it’s all a lie! Smile for the camera and say the right things about our culture. Once the cameras stops rolling…back to my throne; only my executive team matter, no one else. It was so obvious, well to me it was.
Cherry on top…I got “laid off due to restructuring of the workplace”.
Honestly it was sad because I knew what was happening as to my lay off. It was so obvious that is was actually sickening how obvious it was.
I am glad I’m not there. I would have left regardless but “laying me off” after this, we all know what was really going on here. A tad bit obvious huh Capgemini!
Please do not waste your skills and time at this place unless you want to work for fake bosses who don’t give a you know what about their employees. Granted, I can say 3 of his Exco members are sweet gentleman. Diamond in the rough at Capgemini
Good luck on your ventures. Hopefully you will never have to come across something like this in your life.
