Job Brief
The Weapons and Tactics Instructor is responsible for performing in-flight duties to ensure the successful execution of combat, reconnaissance, transport, and search and rescue missions. This role requires extensive experience in operating aircraft communication systems and detection equipment, as well as a strong understanding of aircraft weapons, defensive systems, and emergency procedures. Ideal candidates will possess exceptional analytical skills and the ability to conduct thorough inspections while maintaining high safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate aircraft communications and detection equipment to support mission objectives.
- Establish and maintain satellite linkages while jamming enemy communications capabilities.
- Conduct comprehensive preflight, in-flight, and postflight inspections of onboard equipment.
- Manage and maintain aircraft weapons and defensive systems to ensure operational readiness.
- Operate and maintain in-flight refueling systems during tactical missions.
- Execute aircraft safety and emergency procedures to mitigate risks during operations.
- Compute and verify weight and balance data for passengers, cargo, fuel, and special equipment.
- Conduct cargo and personnel drops efficiently and safely in support of mission objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Weapons and Tactics Instructor or similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of aircraft systems, weapons, and defensive tactics.
- Relevant certifications in aviation and tactical instruction.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively relay instructions and procedures.
- Ability to perform detailed inspections and maintain operational standards.
- Familiarity with current military aviation protocols and safety regulations.
- Physical fitness and the ability to meet aviation medical standards.
