Job Brief
As a Water Plant Operator, you will be responsible for operating and controlling a comprehensive system of machines and processes to treat and transfer water or wastewater. Responsibilities

- Respond to alarms and operational issues promptly to minimize risks and maintain safety.

- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to water treatment.
- Prepare reports on plant operations and assist in the training of new staff.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in water treatment preferred.
- Proven experience as a Water Plant Operator or in a similar role within the water treatment industry.
- Strong knowledge of water treatment processes and equipment operation.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Good communication skills for reporting and collaborating with team members.
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergencies as needed.
