Job Brief

As a Warehouse Clerk, you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management and logistics, with the ability to prepare items for shipment and coordinate transportation effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in inventory records.
  • Maintain detailed records of merchandise and materials received and shipped.
  • Prepare items for shipping, including packing and labeling products appropriately.
  • Coordinate transportation logistics for timely delivery of products.
  • Inspect shipments for damages and discrepancies, reporting issues as necessary.
  • Assist with inventory counts and audits to maintain stock accuracy.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to streamline operations.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems and software for tracking shipments and inventory.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a warehouse clerk or in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and logistics software.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Valid forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory.
