Job Brief
As a Wall Covering Installer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial spaces. Responsibilities
- Measure and cut wallpaper and fabric to fit designated areas accurately.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or priming for optimal adhesion.
- Apply wallpaper and fabric using appropriate adhesives and techniques.
- Install advertising posters and other wall coverings in a professional manner.
- Remove old wall coverings and prepare surfaces for new installations.
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Wall Covering Installer or similar role in the construction or interior design industry.
- Strong knowledge of different types of wall coverings, adhesives, and installation techniques.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to job sites.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in wall covering installation are a plus.
