- Refinish repaired surfaces by applying primer and paint, ensuring a smooth and durable finish.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, materials used, and time spent on each job.
- Collaborate with team members to meet customer deadlines and quality standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and new technologies related to truck body repair.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive repair is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Truck Body Repairer or similar role in the automotive industry.
- Proficient in welding techniques and the use of hand and power tools.
- Strong knowledge of automotive paint application and refinishing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and repair orders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Certification from a recognized automotive repair program is a plus.
