Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a thoracic surgery residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
- Board certification in thoracic surgery or eligibility for certification.
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care and surgical expertise.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Ability to manage high-stress situations and make quick, informed decisions in the operating room.
- Current medical licensure in the state of practice and adherence to all regulatory requirements.
