Job Brief
We are seeking an experienced Stained Glass Installer to join our team. Responsibilities
- Install stained glass in windows, skylights, and decorative structures based on design specifications.
- Prepare surfaces including building fronts, interior walls, ceilings, and tabletops for glass installation.
- Measure and cut glass pieces accurately to fit designated areas while ensuring structural integrity.
- Utilize appropriate tools and techniques to secure and frame stained glass installations.
- Collaborate with design teams to interpret blueprints and project specifications effectively.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition for optimal performance.
- Perform repairs and restoration of existing stained glass installations as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices during installation processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Stained Glass Installer or similar role in the glass installation industry.
- Strong knowledge of stained glass techniques, materials, and installation methods.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment specific to glass installation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks and work at heights.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Relevant certifications in glass installation or construction are a plus.
