Job Brief

The Stadium Manager is responsible for the overall operational management and coordination of stadium facilities, including maintenance, event planning, and staff supervision. This role requires a strong background in facility management, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in stadium or venue management and a deep understanding of event logistics, safety protocols, and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the stadium, ensuring all facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Coordinate and schedule events, including sports games, concerts, and community activities.
  • Manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations, to ensure efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement safety and emergency response plans to ensure the well-being of all patrons and staff.
  • Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and event organizers to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Monitor inventory and supplies for maintenance and event needs, ensuring cost-effective procurement.
  • Prepare budgets and financial reports to manage operational costs and maximize profitability.
  • Enhance guest experience by implementing customer service initiatives and addressing patron concerns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Sports Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in stadium or venue management.
  • Strong knowledge of facility maintenance, event management, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Proficient in budgeting, financial management, and cost control.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by events.
  • Certifications in event planning or facility management (e.g., CFM, CMP) are a plus.
