Job Brief
As a Speedboat Driver, you will operate small motor-driven boats, ensuring safe navigation and compliance with maritime regulations. Responsibilities
- Operate and navigate speedboats in various water conditions while ensuring passenger safety.
- Conduct pre-departure checks on boats, including safety equipment and engine functionality.
- Assist in navigational activities, using maps and GPS systems to plot courses.
- Adhere to maritime laws and safety regulations, ensuring compliance at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers, addressing inquiries and ensuring a pleasant experience.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleanliness checks on speedboats to ensure optimal performance.
- Respond to emergency situations by executing safety protocols and ensuring passenger safety.
Requirements
- Valid boating license and certification in boat operation and safety.
- Proven experience as a speedboat driver or in a similar role within the marine industry.
- Strong knowledge of navigational tools and maritime regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with passengers effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role and perform emergency procedures.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
