As a Skating Rink Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the skating facility, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the skating rink, ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are met.
- Manage and train staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and professional development.
- Develop and implement recreational programs and events to engage the community and enhance visitor experience.
- Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage the budget to ensure financial sustainability.
- Establish and maintain customer service protocols to enhance visitor satisfaction and loyalty.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including risk management and emergency procedures.
- Promote the skating rink through marketing strategies and community outreach initiatives.
- Collect and analyze feedback from patrons to improve operations and service offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facility management or recreational operations, preferably in a skating rink or similar environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic financial acumen, including budgeting and inventory management.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to recreational facilities.
- Ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote facility usage.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
